ACDSee Viewer Shortcut Keys

ACDSee is one of the most popular commercial image viewers (and more) on the market. You can squeeze more out of it via these keyboard shortcuts.

\(backslash) Zooms the image to actual size. Ctrl + Shift + A Opens or closes the Magnifying Glass.
=(equal sign) Increases the magnification of the current image (zooms in). Ctrl + Shift + B Displays or hides the status bar.
`(grave accent) Toggles image audio on or off. Ctrl + Shift + C Copies the currently displayed image to the Clipboard.
-(minus sign) Decreases the magnification of the current image (zooms out). Ctrl + Shift + F Toggles full screen mode.
Alt+<down arrow> Zooms the image to fit the height within the Viewer window. Does not enlarge, only reduces. Ctrl + Shift + F4 Closes all images.
Alt + <right arrow> Zooms the image to fit the width within the Viewer Window. Does not enlarge, only reduces. Ctrl + Shift + G Removes tiled image from the background of the Viewer window.
Alt + \ Toggles the zoom lock on and off. Ctrl + Shift + H Opens or closes the Histogram pane.
Alt + C Copies the current item to a folder you specify. Ctrl + Shift + L Opens the previous image.
Alt + Comma Moves the focus in the Properties pane to the previous tab. Ctrl + Shift + M Displays or hides the main menu bar.
Alt + D Opens the Edit Caption dialog box. Ctrl + Shift + P Prints all currently selected images, or all images in the current folder.
Alt + Enter Opens or closes the Properties pane. Ctrl + Shift + Q Opens the Edit Header/Footer dialog box, in which you can specify the text to display on your images in the Viewer.
Alt + F4 Closes the Viewer window. Ctrl + Shift + S Opens or closes the Navigator pane.
Alt + M Moves the current item to a folder you specify. Ctrl + Shift + T Displays or hides the main Viewer toolbar.
Alt + O Opens the ACDSee Options dialog box. Ctrl + Shift + V Toggles the Page View pane while viewing multiple page images
Alt + Period Moves the focus in the Properties pane to the next tab. Ctrl + Shift + W Sets the selected image as a tiled desktop wallpaper.
Alt + R Opens the Rename File dialog box. Ctrl + Shift + 1 Changes the image color depth to Black and White.
Alt + S Starts or stops the Auto Advance slide show. Ctrl + Shift + 2 Changes the image color depth to 16 grays.
Alt + Shift + L Displays the previous image in sequence. Ctrl + Shift + 3 Changes the image color depth to 256 grays.
Alt + W Restores your desktop wallpaper to the settings you were using before you applied an ACDSee wallpaper. Ctrl + Shift + 4 Changes the image color depth to 16 colors.z
Alt + X Removes currently displayed item from the Image Basket in the Browser. Ctrl + Shift + 5 Changes the image color depth to 256 colors.
B Displays or hides the status bar. Ctrl + Shift + 6 Changes the image color depth to Hicolor.
Backspace Displays the previous item in the slide show, Auto Advance, or Viewer sequence. Ctrl + Shift + 7 Changes the image color depth to Truecolor.
Ctrl + A Displays or hides headers and footers. Delete Deletes the current image to your Recycle Bin.
Ctrl + B Adds currently displayed item to the Image Basket in the Browser. End Displays the last of your selected items, or the last item in the current folder
Ctrl + C Copies the currently displayed file to the Clipboard. Enter Closes the Viewer and returns to the Browser.
Ctrl + D Opens the Edit Caption dialog box. Esc Closes current dialog box, or closes the Viewer and returns to the Browser.
Ctrl + E Opens the current image in the default editing application. F Toggles full screen mode.
Ctrl + F Opens the Convert File Format dialog box. F1 Opens the ACDSee Help file.
Ctrl + F4 Closes the current item. F2 Opens the Rename File dialog box.
Ctrl + Insert Copies the selected portion of an image to the Clipboard. F5 Refreshes the Viewer window and reloads the current image.
Ctrl + J Opens the Rotate/Flip Images dialog box. Home Displays the first of your selected items, or the first item in the current folder.
Ctrl + L Opens the current image in Edit Mode, and activates the Adjust Exposure tool. Insert Opens the Open files dialog box, in which you can select one or more images to open in the Viewer.
Ctrl + Minus Reduces the magnification of the area inside the Magnifying Glass pane. L Toggles the pan lock.
Ctrl + O Opens the Open files dialog box, in which you can select one or more images to open in the Viewer. Page Down Displays the next item.
Ctrl + P Opens the current image in the ACDSee Print utility. Page Up Displays the previous item.
Ctrl + Plus Increases the magnification of the area inside the Magnifying Glass pane. Pause Stops or starts the Auto Advance slide show.
Ctrl + Q Clears the current selection. Shift + Backspace Displays the previous page in a multiple-page image.
Ctrl + R Opens the current image in Edit Mode, and activates the Resize tool. Shift + Delete Removes the current item from your hard drive.
Ctrl + S Opens the Save Image As dialog box, in which you can save you image with a different name or file format. Shift + E Opens the current file in the default system application or opens a dialog box where you can select an application.
Ctrl + T Opens the Change Image Time Stamp dialog box. Shift + End Displays the last page of the current multiple-page image.
Ctrl + V Pastes the contents of the Clipboard. Shift + Enter Closes the Viewer and returns to the Browser.
Ctrl + W Closes the Viewer window. Ctrl + Alt + <left arrow> Rotates the current image 90-degrees counterclockwise.
Ctrl + X Cuts the current item to the Clipboard. Ctrl + Alt + <right arrow> Rotates the current image 90-degrees clockwise.
Ctrl + Y Redo previously undone operation.
Ctrl + Z Undo previous operation.
