Shortcut of today is
Ctrl + X
What it does? It removes (eXtracts, if you want) the selected text/files/elements and places them in the clipboard to be later Pasted. Thus, much like the Copy command the Ctrl + X command is to be used in conjunction with Paste (Ctrl + V).
