Shortcut of today is
Ctrl + V
It stands for Paste (v is for verbatim) and it complements other shortcuts, mainly Ctrl + C but also Ctrl + X. It’s also located conveniently next to the C key on the keyboard. It is a general purpose shortcut and as an action it pastes the item(s), files, text (whatever was copied or cut) at the current location.
